The Cath Kidston Cordless Electric Jug Kettle combines distinctive British design with everyday practicality, making it a charming addition to any kitchen or home office. With a 1.7-litre capacity, it can boil up to seven cups of water, ideal for preparing tea, coffee, hot chocolate and other hot drinks. Each kettle features a hand-applied decorative finish protected by a high-gloss UV coating, complemented by polished chrome detailing. Designed for efficient performance, the rapid-boil function and cup capacity indicator help you heat only the water you need. Safety features include automatic dry-boil shut-off, overheat protection and a concealed heating element. Unplug the kettle from the wall socket and allow it to fully cool. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the base with a moistened cloth, then dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive, aggressive, or caustic cleaning materials, as these can cause permanent damage to your appliance. If you live in an area with hard water (high calcification), you may experience a build-up of limescale over time. If this occurs, use a proprietary de-scaling product to treat your kettle, following the manufacturer’s instructions. After de-scaling, fill your kettle with clean water, boil, empty, and rinse it. Repeat this process twice before using the kettle again. You may also notice the appearance of small rust spots inside your kettle, which are caused by impurities in the water and are not a fault or a cause for concern.
